Biyani Law College Conducts Rural Outreach and Awareness Drive Under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan

Encouraging Social Responsibility Through Community Engagement

Demonstrating its commitment to social development and experiential learning, Biyani Law College organized a two-day rural outreach and awareness campaign under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan initiative on 16th and 17th May 2026. The program was designed to connect students with rural communities and help them understand real-life social challenges while contributing toward awareness and public welfare activities.

Bringing Students Closer to Rural India

As part of the campaign, teams of students visited several villages including Bichpuri, Govindpura, Jaychandpura, Jaibhawanipura, and Nathalpura, Neemra. During their visits, students interacted directly with local residents to learn about the issues faced by rural families in areas such as education, legal awareness, and access to government support schemes.

The field survey enabled students to gain practical exposure while encouraging villagers to become more informed about their rights and available public welfare programs.

Awareness Activities and Legal Guidance

To support community awareness, the college organized a free legal awareness and assistance initiative for villagers. Students and faculty members shared useful information related to:

  • Legal rights and basic legal remedies
  • Women empowerment and social welfare
  • Government welfare schemes
  • Social equality and civic awareness

Interactive activities such as street plays and awareness sessions were also conducted to communicate important social messages in an engaging and easy-to-understand manner. These activities encouraged participation from villagers and helped spread awareness effectively.

The initiative was coordinated by Ms. Kusum Saini, who efficiently managed and supervised the overall activities of the campaign. Dr. Sonam Ratnu, Head of Department, provided academic guidance and motivated students to actively participate in community engagement and rural outreach activities.

Faculty members Ms. Priyanshi Dhaka, Mr. Amit Mothsra, and Mr. Abhishek Sinsinwar also contributed significantly by guiding students during field visits, awareness sessions, and interactive programs conducted in the villages.

Student Participation and Institutional Support

More than 20 students actively participated in the campaign with enthusiasm and dedication. The initiative was carried out under the guidance of the leadership and faculty members of Biyani Group of Colleges.

The program reflected the institution’s vision of combining academic learning with social responsibility and practical exposure.

Building Future Leaders with Social Values

Campaigns like these provide students with opportunities to step beyond classrooms and understand the realities of rural life. By interacting with communities directly, students develop communication skills, leadership qualities, empathy, and a deeper sense of civic responsibility. The initiative also highlights the important role educational institutions can play in supporting rural development and creating socially aware future professionals.

Conclusion

The rural survey and awareness campaign organized by Biyani Law College under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan proved to be a meaningful effort toward community engagement and social empowerment. By spreading awareness and encouraging student participation in grassroots activities, the institution continues to contribute positively toward education, society, and nation-building.
